Installing Pedal Xtenders is not a complicated , but we always recommend fitting to be carried out by an experienced mechanic - this can be provided from our network.

If fitted at home by retail customers, care must be taken to follow the instructions implicitly and the use of the correct tools and locking compounds observed.

It is crucial that the fittings are secure so that the extensions do not move when operating the clutch, foot brake or accelerator. It is possible on most cars to move the pedals upwards or downwards instead of just forwards for extra comfort.

Although the version of extensions that we fit now are permanently fixed, they can be unscrewed when it is required. We are developing all the time and hope to be able to have a version of pedals that retract and extend as required for different drivers. Although this will be more expensive, it will give the driver more flexibility.

Installation of the product does not affect your insurance, but we do recommend that you inform your insurance company that they have been fitted so they can make a note on your policy. Also, the more information they have about Pedal Xtenders will allow them to monitor the reduction in injury and costs and, in time, hopefully pass some discount on to yourselves in the future.
